baseball 3/26/2010
this week in baseball, we worked on different plays for different situations in a game. even though our scrimmages got canceled, we still practiced for the next games. i was having a tough time with making plays, but thanks to some help from other teammates, i have learned to accomplish these plays fully to my ability. by cooperating with the team, may it be Varsity or junior varsity, i fee that our team is becoming better and more prepared to face other schools and may even play in the state tournament.

baseball 3/19/2010
this was the first week of baseball. it has been two years since i last played so i am not in the best of shape. in fact, i felt terrible after the first practice. however, i still returned day after day because i love to play baseball and i want to dedicate the next two months to improve at it so i can become a varsity player by the time the season ends in May.

end of greek 3/11/2010
this is the last class of greek for the rest of the year. i feel that by taking greek, i have learned about other cultures as well as the language itself, which was difficult to adjust to. also, i fel that i have grown on my learning ability becuase of the shift in language. teh translations that we had done havd gotten easier and easier, which shows me that i have been learning new vocabulary and have been applying them to what i have read.

food pantry 03/03/2010
this the the last time i will be attending the food pantry this year as next week i will be starting baseball and not be able to attend the pantry. as this is my last time, i feel that throughout the time i had volunteer at the food pantry, i have become more aware of the problem of the homeless and the needy in my town, as well as in the rest of the country. also, i feel that i have done my part in helping out the needy but through doing this service, i feel that i can do more and in the future, i think i can do more to help those people who are in need from these economic times.

greek 3/4/2010
this week in greek club, we were given a new story to translate, along with a new vocabulary list. the vocabulary from the week before has carried over to this story as to make it more difficult. i find that by translating the previous passage, some of the vocabulary has remained in my head, such as some Greek conjunctions that i did not know previously. through this repetitive work of translation, i find that i am learning a good understanding of Greek.
